Quick visit to Honokalani while driving the Road to Hana did not disappoint. Beautiful beach even on an overcast/rainy day. Amazing how the waves have "tumbled" the black lava rock into smooth stones… AndyATexas的完整评论

If you are adventurous and don't mind winding roads with some narrow gaps that are only one lane, drive to Hana and have a great time. I happened to drive in Ireland last year so Hana was a breeze. If you hate narrow lanes and curves upon curves, take a day trip by tour. The black sand beach was hidden in that it is an unmarked side road from the twisting road to Hana, so we had to turn around twice to catch it.
