The Telangana Tourism Department conducts guided "Heritage Walks," originating from the Charminar at 7 am every Sunday. For very small groups, no prior reservations are necessary. The Guides are very knowledgeable and after an introductory talk in the Charminar premises, they take you on an approximately hour long walk, stopping every few minutes to explain the historical significance of various structures and sites. No. At least the one conducted by the Tourism department is only on Sundays. However, there are private organisations that conduct customised walks on days of your choice. Please search online for them. I have not used their services.
