Grade 1 listed farm house and associated barns loved and lived in by William Morris, designer, poet, author, campaigner and Father of the Arts & Crafts Movement. Set in the West Oxfordshire countryside in the village of Kelmscott next to the Thames river. This tranquil place inspired Morris to produce some of his most iconic designs and conservational thoughts. The Manor reopened in 2022 after extensive restoration and improvement works funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Hi - Fantastic place to visit. We run a walking tour called 'In the footsteps of Sir Edward Burne-Jones' through the streets of Birmingham and of course include a lot of detail of the life-long friendship of Morris and Burne-Jones. I doubt that they allow dogs in the Manor but the rest of the place appeared pretty dog friendly.
