We went to the komodo island as part of our boat cruise from Flores to Lombok. When arriving on the jetty it already felt a bit off, this feeling unfortunately became a reality. We were told the dr… 827maximg的完整评论

We all loved the experience. Too many people, though but we had a chance to see two active dragons, one pretty sedated (just guessing) and a little one by the rocks nearby the beach. Happiness60290815521的完整评论

Accessible by boat, we were fortunate to see a couple of dragons when we visited. Our tour guide was knowledgeable as we walked around the island (3 options for walking, short 40 mins, medium 1 hour … wee_lassy_big_world的完整评论
Hi there .... can you make your own way to the Dragon park (say by taxi) and then buy a guided walk ticket from there (as opposed to paying $120 for the organised tour from the cruise ship) ???

If you can find your way to Beno the port of Flores Island where the boat for Island Hopping (to Komodo Island or Rinca Island and the Padar Island and the Pink beach) tours. There are buses and ferries across Sambawa Island from Lombok and you will need at least two days journey across, but the bus and ferry are cheap. You will have to book a boat for the tour and it is not cheap, For a day trip it will cost 2,000 and above (depend on your bargain) with lunch. Or overnighter from 4,000 RP. Or you can join the group outing by going to the pier and wait for the boats to fill up. If you are 4 and above it is better to book the whole boat but you have to book it overnight as same day booking may not get you a boat and it will cost more.
We are on a cruise ship going to Komodo Island and believe we must book a tour to be able to leave the ship and see the dragons. The ship tour says high level of fitness and 1 hour of walking. Can anyone please tell me is this a flat stroll or hoofing it up a hill? Roughly how many km are covered? Is it easy or hard walking? Any info would be appreciated (we have a young child and unfit adults)
