However, whilst there is a slope up from the road as you enter close to the windmill, once you are there the rooms are on the level. Make sure you access via that entrance. My wife is about to go through a hip replacement in the next month and we visited the Palace only two months ago. Enjoy your visit.
Visiting Potsdam Sunday in mid-May, intending to buy tickets online for the Palace, to get the timed entrance we want. Best deal is to book online for a specific time for The Sanssouci Palace and get The Sanssouci + package to visit any/All of the other palaces, New wings, Chinese House, etc at any time that whole day! We spent from 10:30 palace visit to almost 5:00pm touring the Park gardens and buildings! Wonderful day.
