No. I’ve joined family there after they were finishing lunch and we sat and had a beer with them. Mind you it wasn’t busy so there was no issue. Hope that helps!

This is not a fast food restaurant, but you determine the speed and how long you stay. For the price, take your time and enjoy the German atmosphere, music, etc.
