The Valhalla is set to rival Lamborghini’s new Revuelto and it will be the first production series mid-engined Aston Martin.

Following a series of sports car launches and a signficant SUV referesh, Aston Martin has revealed its latest product, billed as the "ultimate drivers supercar'. The Aston Martin Valhalla packs a power punch and delivers a number of firsts for the company.

Production of the Valhalla will start in the second quarter of 2025, just as Aston Martin wraps up production of the Valkyrie. The automaker in November said Valkyrie production will be concluded by the end of 2024, after which a total 275 units will have been built, including coupe, convertible, and track-only versions.

A long time in the making – it was first announced by the British carmaker in 2019 – the Valhalla is a slightly more accessible follow-up to the Valkyrie halo car.

The plug-in hybrid Valhalla is the first Aston Martin to use a bespoke 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, offering a system output of 1,065bhp and 1,100Nm.

The remaining juice for the Valhalla is delivered by three electric motors. One motor is integrated with the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, primarily acting as a starter and generator to charge the battery pack.

At long last, Aston Martin is getting ready to build its Valhalla mid-engine supercar, with a V-8 plug-in-hybrid setup and extreme aerodynamics.
