As someone else said, the Yugo 8mm is good. Primers are stiff, but Yugo Mausers handle it like a champ. It's usually cheap if you can find it. Turkish 8mm is very hot, but surefire and won't hurt a bolt action in good condition. The older Romanian steel case is really good stuff.

2020年11月11日 · I reload 8mm mauser mostly. PPU 198gr FMJ .323 bullets with PPU brass. Load them all with around 45gr of Varget and I can get around 2400-2500fps. Reload ammo kick harder than factory ammo such as federal and PPU. S&B 8mm mauser is exactly the WW2 velocity load. I really dont want to shoot surplus corrosive ammo, cheap but too much trouble.

Velocity was between 2800-2890 fps without any cracked necks or other signs of over pressure. It’s all dated 1945 and seems to be excellent I was getting 2-3 in groups with my old Turk mauser at 100 yards.
