Riddick was only a part of a much bigger whole. The other films lacked something by making him the only character the story really revolved around. The Vin Diesel obviously had such an ego it didn't occur to him that the Pitch Black universe has so much more to tell outside of the kinda predictable Riddick personality.

Got unrealistic and lost steam the last 1/3. It's almost like I'm watching two different movies on different planets. 2 Had big ideas, and the necros were cool, but they just turned into minions for Riddick to beat up and weren't unique. At the time, it was fashionable to make an interim story in a video game (The Matrix did the same thing).

2023年9月23日 · Here's hoping we get another romp in the universe but Vin isn't as hot as he once was and movies like Bloodshot or Last Witch Hunter are getting rarer and rarer these days for him. But maybe just maybe after the 12th fast film he'll return to Riddick or we'll get something like an Alien 3 origin story of the next new Sci-fi universe to enjoy.
