2020年11月18日 — I would never dye an ebony fingerboard or any fingerboard. It always looks like shoe polish on sneakers to me or a 50 year old man that uses jet black hair dye. Embrace the streaks in that sustainable ebony. Madagascar ebony was the jet black stuff and hasn’t been available for a while maybe 10+ years at least in production numbers.

2018年1月17日 — So, I hear talk about the black, but there appears to be 2 different ones. There is talk about the gold, but I hear gold, gold 2, gold sig, gold FET and I'm confused. At least the red & white seem to be clear. So here are the ones I've seen: 1) It looks like the original. Silver face, black sides. Is this the "RF" version? Like the original?

2017年11月6日 — Everybody that doesnt actually have or has had one craves one but everybody that craves one has no idea why. When the plexi and later the 2203 was the stadium touring amp almost everybody modded the heck out out of them because stock they were unusable for most players. Waaay loud and not enough gain for hair metal like scorpions, ect.
Has anyone aged their Historic 335 pick guard? | The Gear Page
2015年4月20日 — There was an older Tort guard with aged white binding from an older reissue I had considered..not sure how that would work. I like black and tort on fender types. The black finish of my 335 really seems to bring out the bright white of the stock guard more than other 335s I've seen. Loving the guitar though..bonding with it big time, it's a keeper.

I think swiveltung is saying it above, but to offer another approach (at least what I've done), when taping off the headstock, don't tape *right* against the leading ...

2021年9月18日 — I play in a hard rock / stoner rock band similar to Sabbath, Sound Garden, Motörhead, UFO. Half step down, drop C#. I also play a variety of rock and blues on my own including a decent amount of Hair Metal. Some of my favorite tones are Velvet Recolver and the Darkness. I play lead and rhythm. Rig is a JCM 800 with mostly an Sd1 through V30’s.

2016年11月20日 — It's been brought up in the Katana thread by <someone> in the Boss camp. It really, really works well. Tonight was the first night I did this setting and added dirt. Handled them wonderfully (Lovepedal Cot50, JTM, Champ, Alpha Dog and Black Tooth Grin). The Katana is an absolutely fantastic amp. At its price point, there's nothing comparable imo.
