It depends. Some wallpapers can be quite intense while others are not an issue at all.I have a laptop with integrated graphics and I've generally found the worst performance with web page type wallpapers. I'd say intense 3D scenes would probably be next, but I've never used any. Next is intense 2D scenes then regular 3D scenes.

I'm always on the lookout for good scifi related live wallpapers. There used to be a Tron style Glowing Neon Highway one I used on my phone, but it's no longer on the Play Store and doesn't seem to be compatible above Android 11 or so. Still have it on my old tablet though. My current wallpaper is Cube Complex Free LWP.
