Keep in mind if using a cheap walk behind spreader it probably going to have plastic tires . If the tires are not turning the spreader won't work.

2010年9月10日 · The problems are (1) it doesn't spread sand well, (2) you need really good traction for the drive wheel to turn the spreader/broadcaster. If you're pushing the spreader on ice, the wheel won't get enough traction to spin the spreader mechanism. I only do a few driveways that have a couple of steep icy sections that need traction material.
