2024年3月19日 · I’m about 12 hours into my induction. I was at 1cm when I came in and they gave me 3 rounds of cytotec. I am now 3-4 cm dilated and 70% effaced. They are about to start me on Pitocin. Last time I was induced they gave me Pitocin and my water broke pretty quickly then I got the epidural before the bad contractions started.

I had the epidural around 8cm and I am so glad I did. With my second my water broke at 7 am but was not having contractions - I was started on Pitocin around 11. The contractions started within 15 min.

2015年6月8日 · My mom had all of her babies 1-2 weeks after her due dates. Has anyone used the prostaglandin method for induction? Of course I wouldn't consider this unless I'm a week or more past due. I really want a natural, unmedicated birth. The pitocin was awful and made contractions stronger, so I had to get the epidural with my first baby.
