I understand the limitations of my Adler now and am currently sewing with #69 thread and my eventually max at 138. As I said I am all new to machine sewing. My machine seems to work fine although I am experiencing som stitching issues and hope some can help.

2016年3月23日 · Thats a fact you should keep in mind when buying an older Adler machine. If I had to choose between a 30-1 and lets say a Singer 29K73 I would always take the Singer. The later Singer models are technically much more advanced. And don´t buy that Adler 30-1 are more reliable or "more heavy duty" or better built than the Singer patchers.

The Adler 69 which I have had a couple is a great machine and comparable to the Pfaff 335. The New 669 is 20% better than the 69 or 335 as well as it will sew heavier. The 669 replaced the 69.
