For top end RSC’s and TL-15’s or TL-30’s, look at: National Security. AMSEC (they also make “real” safes) Hollon (also real safes) Brown (also real safes) Fort Knox.

Most of the safes found at box stores are very similar and cheaply made. 12-14 gauge steel is common.
Winchester safe won't lock- not an electronic problem

I finally took off the inside cover to take a look at the locking mechanism. Nothing seems out of place, but sometimes the bolts will not stay engaged in the lock position. Opening is never a problem.

2010年3月10日 · The dual lock system may be one of the most secure on the market. When its locked, the door is part of the safe, you will NOT pry it open like you see in the videos of other safes. They will build what you want. Save money on the exterior paint for instance. Mine looks like a battleship, its just grey.

2010年7月27日 · The 15 gun safe back in the late 1990's was $800 and fairly heavy. I have not seen a Treadlok for $1200 but either way.. $300 is a good price for a 10year old Treadlok. As far as it being actually 15 gun... its probably more like 15 marlin 22 rifles and not 15 rifles of different sizes and types. Good luck.

On the inside of your bedroom closet /u> above the door and out of reach from children, install 2 bicycle hooks at the proper distance to hold your AR in the proper places. It's a short step to the closet. A close reach over the door. This is what I do with a shotgun.

It maybe a cheaper LIberty made safe but for sureits a lower cost point safe yet again with 14ga metal , Thats only .0781 or 5/64 of an inch thick !! I good safe cost you up front but compare that to what's inside it is the issue ...

I've boiled it down to the ruger American or rem 700 ADL. seems everybody is bashing Remington lately for diminished QA control. But I like the 700 design.
