2010年11月29日 · I am looking to buy pre-ban 15 round magazines for my Beretta 92FS. How can you properly identify a pre-ban magazine? I know magazines manufactured during the federal ban were stamped LEO. But seems that Beretta magazines manufactured after the federal ban expired, do not have a date of manufacture or markings on them. Thanks.

2010年6月13日 · How can I tell whether a Beretta 92FS magazine is legal in MA. I got two 15 round magazines from Four Seasons - I feel confident that they wouldn't sell me something illegal, but I wanted to know if there was a way I could check. 'Trust but lock your doors,' and all that. MFS put some healthy fear of MA gun laws into me. Thanks!

2006年3月21日 · Also, beretta switched to from metal followers and baseplates to polymer in the early 90s. Obviously these parts can all be swapped out though, so its not necessarily indicative of preban vs postban. The older prebans have a magazine release cutout near the baseplate, which was for older 92s that still had a heel release.
New Beretta 92FS jamming almost every cycle
2015年12月26日 · A 92FS jamming, even on Blazer ammo? Something certainly doesn't sound right. 9mm or not, the Beretta is designed to be a reliable gun. 10k+ rounds through mine and it's never jammed...even when I ran Blazer through it. Clean and lube, make sure you're not limp-wristing it, and if it jams again take it back and ask the shop to look at it.

2014年2月2日 · I figured I’d share. I am new to guns. Especially to semi-auto pistols. 2 weeks ago, I got myself a new Beretta 92FS. Brand new.. factory oil, etc. Well, I wiped that factory oil down a bit and went straight to the MFS range with a box of 9mm ammo(I think it was Federal). Btw, my Beretta came with 2x 10 round factory mags.

2012年8月24日 · Pre-ban doesn't mean anything as far as pistols go. A new in the box 92FS at Four Seasons is $549. If yours was made in Italy and / or is "pre-plastic" it might be worth $50 more or so to the right buyer. Pre-ban Beretta mags are plentiful and not terribly expensive. Maybe $30 or $35 each or so if they're in like new condition.

2021年1月16日 · What you seek doesn’t exist. There are Magazines that didn’t exist before 94 and there are magazines with definite post 94 markings such as “LEO only“. The old school beretta mags had thinner side grooves, metal baseplates, metal followers and other small differences. Even so one cannot PROVE a magazine is made prior to 9/94.
Converting 10 round mags back to stock capacity
2023年2月19日 · I can use Canik mags, P226 mags, or Beretta 92F/M9 mags. The Beretta and p226 require slight modifications to accommodate the change in placement of the mag release. On a Beretta mag, its cutting a notch about an inch down. On a p226 mag, its extending the latch down another 1/8th of an inch. The Beretta mag will still function fine in a Beretta.
