2014年12月4日 · The finish of the 92s is simply beautiful. It has a really nice rich, deep blue on both the steel slide and aluminum frame. Compared to the standard flat-black Beretta factory finish on the 92FS, I much prefer the 92s. I have seen even well-worn examples that I actually thought might be steel-framed due to the way the aluminum finish had worn.

2024年2月27日 · The 92S has some good points - the manufacturing quality and finish are excellent, they are Beretta reliable and there was a time when essentially unused examples could be had for $300. If the slide is parkerized, it has been refinished.

2015年6月8日 · Hi, I have a like-new Beretta 92S that I purchased recently from SOG. In case you don't know, these have the mag release down by the heel. I bought a bunch of replacement springs from Wolff to lighten the trigger a bit (it is very heavy). I changed out the trigger spring with a D spring conversion, and that went OK.

2021年12月17日 · Never owned a factory threaded beretta barrel but that's good to know so I don't buy one. For compacts, just used a full size barrel but cut it longer than I guess beretta does to avoid impingement on the recoil spring guide rod. For full sized 92, turn barrel down and thread very fine. Inside thread a sleeve and install on barrel.
