DIY ATC automatic tool changer for cnc router.. Mythical or reality?
2013年2月9日 · I have been searching past post for ideas or plans for a diy atc for my home built cnc router. I read posts from several years ago that somebody built their own atc, but it had a few issues at speeds around 20k. Currently, I have a Hitachi router but would switch spindles for anything that works better with a ATC.

2010年10月25日 · Don, I am running the a HobbyCNC Pro board with 200 oz-in steppers, they are pushing around a modified JGRO (mdf=heavy) machine with a Sears Craftsman 2.5hp router. Works pretty darn good, could be just a little faster though as I am running single start 5/8" 11tpi all-thread on all of my axis.
