Endoscopy (which I have been avoiding for years). Result: no stricture, no cancer. Given Levsin for occurrence. Happened last night, took 45 minutes to get relief.

2019年7月3日 · The symptoms you are having are exactly what I was dealing with lump in the throat chest pain that felt like a heart attack 24/7. Food getting stuck. The test they did was a Manometry. Horrible test but it measures your esophagus muscles when you swallow water. Had it done twice with the same results.

2020年4月29日 · I had Hiatal hernia 2 cm, some Barrett’s esophagus and gastritis from what the endoscopy revealed and I had my Nissan fundoplication on February 26, 2020 so it’s still fresh. I hope you get better I feel your pain and agony I know it’s it’s very frustrating and messes with our quality of life it’s unfortunate I’ll pray us both.

2023年10月30日 · Hi Teresa he did mention that yes. Well, I have had gastritis for years and yes it helps. Am yet to observe myself with this new condition, but I think it should help am on Pantoprazole Sodium 40 mg twice a day. I take the tablet on an empty stomach. But when I eat I feel like the food is stuck on my throat and it takes hours to go down.

2023年4月7日 · My Dad was diagnosed in January of 2021 when he couldn't eat without food getting stuck in esophagus. Has spread to Lymph nodes, hip bone. Lost about 80 pounds fairly quickly. Doctor initially said that without Chemo life expectancy would be about 6-12 months...with Chemo 12-18 months. Here we are 26.5 months later !!

2024年6月2日 · This can be greatly improved by going on an acid reducer. A gastroenterologist may do an endoscopy on you to see down in the throat & esophagus. There is nothing to it...you will be under mild sedation. I had this done last May and my esophagus needed dilating (food was getting stuck, so essentially he stretched my esophagus).
