Keep in mind that new, your Roland lists for about $16000.00, while the most expensive Epson you can get that will even produce an image without a RIP is right at $5000.00.

2012年10月10日 · Ohh !! free version of RIP, i think we may not get this for some time. As JDF has got dependency with MIS, and MIS intern with RIP... everything is interlinked for business. I am quite not sure why that industry open standard format is depending on some expensive software systems. If it is open standard should have talk to printer directly.

2011年6月1日 · Both the EFI software and Caldera software will run under the Mac OS. I am familiar with both RIPs, though I have much more experience with EFI (8 years). I have installed EFI for both the Z6100 and the DJ5000 with success. The EFI software also takes advantage of the embeddd spectro in the Z6100. I have also installed Postershop with Mimaki.

As for your ICC question, you could try creating a v2 ICC from the same data and compare to the v4 using the same output settings and workflow.
