How many watt generator to run harbor freight log splitter?
2014年7月3日 · The 5 ton log splitter from Harbor Freight is 120v, 60hertzs (I think). I can run it fine at home but if I am out in the woods I'd like to buy the least heavy generator that will still run it. Any opinions?

So, whether you get an Earthquake or Yardmax splitter, consider what kind of extended service plan you can get. I would consider it especially important for a Harbor Freight splitter.

2013年12月31日 · As far as getting parts is concerned. I'm not sure what is not standard in any log splitter that would be hard to come by.... Good to know, but still would not spend that kind of coin on a splitter from HF. As far as parts, my concern is the quality of the original part. Might be a fine splitter that will give you years of service-might not. JMO.

2011年3月5日 · So, if you have a Harbor Freight 30 ton log splitter, I would strongly suggest that you either dismantle the cylinder and examine the retaining nut, or, at the very least, stop using the splitter as soon as even the smallest leak begins at the seal. That is how my splitter's problems began.
