About to buy a Honda Fit - any known/common issues? : r/Honda
2012年5月23日 · The 2008 model is the first gen Fit so it'll be different than the one I have (in the US, the second gen was released for the 2009 model year). Wind and engine noise is somewhat noisy, and the first gen Fit isn't as aerodynamic, but it's nothing compared to what it would sound like in an Element or a Nissan Cube.

Update: Honda did the right thing finally for carbon buildup
2022年11月30日 · Posting this in case anyone else who bought a new 2017-2020 Fit runs into this same problem. Honda finally agreed after almost 2 weeks to perform the necessary repairs for carbon buildup on my Fit's intake valves. If your dashboard lights up like a Christmas tree with a check engine and multiple other warning lights, get an OBD reader.

2011年2月22日 · Just because Honda Civic clutches last, doesn’t mean a Fit uses the same set up. These new cars keep using smaller components and lighter materials in their design. A clutch that is burned out at 16K miles is unacceptable. Yet, perhaps Honda is under engineering the clutch. Apparently the Fit uses a very small and light battery.
