November 6, 2015 at 6:16 pm #1575686. I bought a jackson cardinal fly box last year for my ice jigs and loved it! But when looking through my ice stuff recently I noticed that some of the jigs are falling out of the foam. The foam has gotten used to the jigs and is wore out.

2012年12月17日 · Then glue down 1/16-1/4″ eva foam across the whole box. Now you can just hook in a spoon wherever you want and close er up. Works great and keeps all your spoons from bouncing around on each other. You can get the foam from any craft store. This type of box also works great for jigs. Nitrodog.

2012年12月6日 · Bryan- I use the grey PLANO ones and will help you out on the damages to the paint on the jigs. Whai I do now in all my jig boxes is, I cut a block of foam the size of each compartment and place it in each of these compartments on top of the jigs and close the box.

2014年12月16日 · Take one of those silica gel dessicants you get when you buy new shoes and throw that sucker in your jig box. I would actually recommend throwing one in every tackle box. They help soak up that extra moisture left from changing lures. It has helped a lot to cut down on the rust for my gear. Great idea!

A trick that alot of the “old timers” use is to tie your line directly to the purist without the snap hook. Then slide the knot to the side of the eyelet so the purist hangs more horizontal.
