I have a custom game table from them and I am definitely considering the Jasper as a second table. It looks like they’ve learned from their mistakes with the Duchess. I’m glad it’s made entirely in the US if only because shipping from China, customs, etc will not be an issue. And the three-piece topper is a big plus.

They also have the long version, so that’s the only version of the Jasper table I’d suggest for OP’s situation. But there might be something out there with better proportions.

The main board game tables guy was pretty transparent about the problems during the Duchess KS, and he seems to me to be the type who learns from mistakes. If I were in the market for another board game table, I'd get a Jasper without a second thought. Or I might even custom order a table from them.

2022年2月14日 · Ultimately it’s mostly a cosmetic defect. The weight of the table is all resting on those big bolts up above the gap, same for all the legs. The only thing the ledge provides besides looking neat is something for the table to “settle” on as the wood adjusts to your home.
