2013年5月3日 · 2742 posts · Joined 2002. #5 ·May 4, 2013. If one has a full size MP5 to shoot suppressed, then the MP5K kept as the K has a certain positive and is shorter. And being smaller is the stock and trade of the MP5K, as if size did not matter then go a full size MP5 ;-).

MP5K-PDW vs MP5 The MP5K-PDW would be the way to go if you could only have one and did not have a specific mission requiring the longer barrel (extra 3 inches). Smaller package with all the features and a real showstopper on your local range when in title II (full-auto) configuration.

Certainly some one with better understanding will also chime in (and you may already know), however just sharing for others as an HK Pro shooter (Derek G) discusses swapping out the Locking Piece to the (#28) 80 degree vice OEM 100 degree if going suppressed specifically on the SP5K-PDW.

2011年5月3日 · 643 posts · Joined 2007. #10 · Sep 24, 2012 (Edited) Get a cheap (BMP) K grip and bolt a Magpul rail segment (I think you can buy them standalone, but I know they come with their vertical grips) and screw it onto the Right side of the K grip. I did this for less than five bucks and it worked perfectly and looked factory.

2014年1月24日 · Per the MP5 wikipedia page, a MP5K-PDW is 13.7" with receiver cap, 14.5" with stock folded, and 23.7" with stock extended. Heckler & Koch MP5 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. So I'd measure your 89K and add 10" to OAL - or better yet, add 8.5" or so. Always better to be shorter than longer than actual on your Form 1.

Starting out with the following: HS1 finger light (green laser). Had to dremel out a hole for HS1 laser to poke/emitt through. Worked out great.

Standard mp5 "100 degree" locking piece, which is apparently now standard in the mp5k. I'd really like to get a sense of the pros/cons of each.
