The challenge is this: She has Alzheimer's disease, so she cannot remember why she has the bag, and we are concerned that once she is home from the hospital, she will try to remove it.

2016年12月11日 · There is an ostomy that you still will have bowel movements - I think maybe a loop or something like that. But if you have a regular ileostomy or colostomy, then it is definitely mucus. An enema once a week will help with this.

I think the whole plan is to look for any signs of polyps or other signs of trouble all along the colon. They usually have you do prep prior to the procedure.
