2024年11月3日 · I don’t smoke salmon before canning but should give it a try. For tuna, 15/20 minutes in the smoker then into the jars. You won’t taste the smoke but it puts the tuna at another level of goodness. Amazing. I’d like to do the same with salmon to asses the results. Heavily smoked salmon before canning is yucky stuff.

2011年9月13日 · i heard something about the vinegar but i wasnt sure how much to use etc.. so i just mix about a 50/50 solution in my sink and dunked the fish in there, it helped a little. mabye i just need it a little more concentrated.

2010年2月12日 · I went 2/2 solo. 3.0 Mexi-Hat spinner blade, tandem hooks, w/pink Hootchie, Salmon Slammer scent, no meat, fished higher in the water column than normal (95 ft out on LC instead of 123 ft., 16 oz.). I released the first one, a smallish unclipped coho about 6-7 lbs. The second one fought hard and turned out to be a fat hatchery fish of 11 lbs.

2014年10月24日 · I've been salmon fishing NW rivers for over a decade with moderate success at times. Clearly, a chrome fish is everybody's first choice. I've found that Chinook salmon, when even a little bronze, tend to cut like sturgeon. I've tried eating these fish, and (in my opinion) they are not suitable table fare unless you are a cat or a seagull.

2005年8月31日 · Pin bones disintegrate during pressure cooking and spinal vertebrea become extremely soft and will turn to mush with pressure but can be removed easily if preferred. Skin is easily removed also. I prefer the oiliness of the fish when the skin and bones are left intact..just my .02. Have you ever opened a can of Alaskan Pink salmon?

2011年10月25日 · for salmon i like chart/orange or chart/flo red the main color is the chart and the orange/red are tied in what is known as a blood dot. do this by simply cutting a few strands of your main color, and one strip of your dot. tie as tight as you can and a dot will form after the strands are cut to form a ball.
