2009年5月19日 · A 9-speed crankset will work fine with an 8-speed system. No need to swap chainrings. You can use either an 8- or 9-speed chain, but I would stick with an 8-speed because that's what the cassette prefers.

Can I buy pulley set for a 10 speed and use it on my 9 speed? 2. Does the pulleys have to match? i.e. can I purchase an XTR version and put it on the XT version? 3.

2019年4月22日 · You'll find out after a few rides. More extreme downhill and rock gardens you'll benefit from a slack ht angle. In my opinion, the main trade-off will be high-speed cornering. With less weight over the front, wash outs are expected to be more likely. That's the idea anyway; but like I say, ymmv.
