2021年4月24日 · Oh! one more point about the Staccato-XC: when cleaning up my shooting station, of 50rds fired: four cases missing (presumed down-range); about five brass on the floor; the remaining ~41 stacked on the nice 20*11 bag. Never before had a semi-auto handgun throw brass as gently and consistently as that.

Western Powders lists the following 9mm +P load: 124 (P) RAIN HP 5.7 1,080 6.1 1,150 38,263 1.110. Their data is available online. Also: 1.16 is longer than most typical 9mm loads. Especially for an HP bullet.
Internal slide wear marks on a brand new Staccato xc
2020年7月1日 · Hi all. Purchased a new Staccato xc. Brought it home and disassembled to clean. Noticed wear marks where the coating/blueing is already wearing. In your opinion does it look like I was sold a used gun or is it a fit and finish problem with STI? I have another STI with about 1200 rounds through it. Looks better than this one.

2020年1月26日 · Trigger pull and reset are exactly what one comes to expect from STI/Staccato..short and crisp with no take-up. It came with (3) extra springs, color-coded and labeled “light loads”, “standard”, and “hot loads”. No poundage for any of them, however, nor for the installed one.

2020年3月9日 · Better trigger on the XC. They are generally the same. Dust cover is different (I liked my Omni’s better), Omnis had side ports on the comp (I like my XC’s better), and I think the Omnis have a better plate system for the red dots (more versatile). I also believe the DVC line had an overall better fit and finish.

2022年8月29日 · Here is a PRO-tip for anyone that might be interested , before you go to the range spray some Dillions case lube in the comp, keep the gun virticle with a small pistol rack or some books until the stuff dries to a paste in the comp. It stays in place after many round, and will make cleaning the comp 10X more easy then if you didn't spray it.

2020年3月19日 · Every staccato I have held (4 now) have been properly fit with good extractors. I had a DVC 3 gun, DVC limited, Tactical 5 . 0 , and a tactical 4.0 before this new take over. All the guns were good, but each had little issues I had to correct (or extractor tension incorrect, grip too tight, beaver tail fitted poorly, safety digs into hand, etc).

2021年1月14日 · If you just want to have fun, sure. if you want to compete and have $4200 to spend, I got my Phoenix Trinity Honcho built from them for $4100 and it can be a full tilt open gun or a sightblock 9mm minor. The XC is only decent in 3 Gun open, there isn’t really a place for it other than that. It’d be fun though.
