There is plenty to do and constant progression. You will need to find a solo friendly guild for some stuff. You can play a good 80%+ of the game on your own. The story line and progression to what would be considered “raid ready” gear is all completely capable of being done solo.

imo vastly different. TL seems more sandpark style like archeage vs Gw is more traditional theme park. GW2 is my main MMO. They are two different MMOs targeting two different demographics so you can't really compare them, and I'll be playing both of them for different reasons.
