Once the carrier's in and the toilets are hung, you take the toilets back off, place the drywall over the all thread and you're pretty much done.
Framing Question: How thick the wall that carries plumbing?
Jun 15, 2008 · The OLD WALL (before remodelling) was framed with 2X4s---that wall carried much of the plumbing for the bathroom (on one side) and the kitchen (on the other side). FOR SPACE REASONS (every inch counts), I want to frame back the new wall using 2x4s ---however, a friend suggested that a wall that carries plumbing should be framed using 2X6s.

You can pretty much butt the wall (by butt I mean give around 2 inches of room) to the unit on any side that the furnace except the service side. That has to be completely accessible. Vertical closet units barely have any room in them on three sides.

Apr 25, 2012 · Junction box wrong shape/size for light. I'm installing a new outdoor light on the house (replacing a single flood with a motion sensor security light). I didn't realize until I took the old one off the house today that it's got a small rectangular junction box. The brackets that came with the new (round-based) light won't even fit in there.

As long as your wax seal is good and the toilet cannot move at all, and it is functioning without leaking, you should be good to go. Mike. The wax seal is new, and the toilet feels solid.
