2023年12月13日 · The P1050 code kept coming back over the months and looking at the DEF level on the DIC I could see that the failure was very intermittent at times. At others, it was a hard failure. One pattern did emerge, and that was in the mornings when it was cool out (relatively speaking in Florida) the level reading was normal.

It helps to remember a few things. 1) The cylinders/pistons are numbered from "1" at the front of the engine to "8" at the back in the order that the piston rods connect to the crankshaft. It is a simple system. 2) Cylinders 2, 4, 6 & 8 are NOT, I repeat, NOT directly opposite cylinders 1, 3, 5 and 7.

2020年6月2日 · Thanks, Travis. My scanner says the fuel pressure is 57-60 at idle, but the pressure dropped to 42 at the time of the DTC incident. The P2635 sets when your lift pump pressure (actual) deviates more than 5.8 psi from lift pump pressure (desired) for more than 30 seconds. Not unheard of for them to go bad.

2022年5月9日 · If you start with a p1050 it is more than likely the sensor molded into the tank (2018). Some run $425 (GM Parts Direct, North Carolina) and go as high as $700 from dealers. If the sensor does not tell the ecm there is enough def in the tank to use, it pretty much shuts down the whole system.

The trucks run a lot better after weight loss surgery, and you get the exhaust noise as a side benefit. The cons are a lot of things too. Upfront cost is something to consider.
