Their usual job is to step up when something goes really wrong, but on Saturday, First Responders in Saugeen Shores – police, fire and paramedics – stepped up to donate their time off to collect donations in their annual food and toy drive to support the Salvation Army.

In a news release issued by the city on Wednesday afternoon, it said the Owen Sound Fire and Emergency Services responded to an east side store with reports of black smoke being visible.

Town doubles down on annual housing allowance support
2024年4月16日 · Saugeen Shores councillors doubled down on their support for the Bruce County Municipal Housing Allowance Program at their April 8 meeting, authorizing the transfer of $150,000 to the County that administers the program, i nitiated in September of 2022. It currently provides a housing allowance of $590/month to 27 households in Bruce County.
