2019年11月4日 · Power supply CLC filter in my amplifier is one for both channels. I use 20 Ohms resistors to separate left and right channel B+. Previously both channel B+s where the same point - the capacitor after the choke. After a break-in, I will try to remove Nichicons (and probably 20 Ohms resistors) as you told. I will check what does sound better for me.

2019年4月2日 · An amplifier is a voltage source. It's job is to pump electrons stored in the power supply into the speaker. If the speaker is high impedance fewer electrons (current) are required to do the job. Lower impedance than more electrons. If the power supply runs out of electrons all the pumping power (voltage) in the world will not do any good.

The new units have a larger transformer than the Ingot, and more storage capacitance than the Ingot. This is an upgrade for both the IPS and the Ingot. Remove cover.
