The Bodhi Tree ("tree of awakening" or "tree of enlightenment" [1]), also called the Mahabodhi Tree or Bo Tree, [2] is a large sacred fig tree (Ficus religiosa) [1] [3] located in Bodh Gaya, Bihar, India.
