Your experiences with Butterball boneless turkey breast roasts?
2020年11月13日 · Just looked at the Butterball Frozen Breast Meat Roast, they are up to a 20% solution of water, food starch, salt, flavorings, etc. A typical frozen Butterball turkey is only up to 8%. A fresh Butterball turkey is only up to 4%. Big differences in water injection.

I basted it with butter a few times during the cook. I just salt and peppered it to begin with. Nice and juicy with a nice smoke ring and our kids liked it.

2010年5月20日 · 225?? Well, for large turkeys yes and no. Though the turkey might be at an unsafe temp for 'too long', continued cooking to a safe internal will pasteurize it and make it safe to eat. That said, I see no reason to cook a turkey at 225? unless you are cooking a small bird or a b/s breast and want to milk the cooktime for whatever reason.
