2023年8月17日 · Spectrum has come out with the Xumo Stream Box to eventually replace the traditional receivers. The first Xumo Stream Box is free for 12 months, you will have to pay a fee for the additional Xumo's per device per month. Spectrum has set a 4 Xumo limit per customer. If you need more than that you would have to purchase the extra ones.

2023年10月26日 · The only thing this Spectrum Stream Box is good for is to watch Spectrum channels. The only reason I got it was because I was paying over $33 a month for 3 cable boxes. It is totaly useless for streaming other services. I have been using the Xumo with the Spectrum TV App and streaming apps.

2023年1月15日 · The only logical conclusion is that the problem is NOT with the modem or my browsers at all. The problem seems to be the ability of Spectrum.net to deliver the streaming content at the rate the information is available. When Spectrum.net "buffers" it actually LOSES the content during the buffering time, not delaying it.

2024年1月12日 · The Xumo box does support 4K and most all Dolby formats. However, the Spectrum app only supports stereo on all channels. On my Roku using the Spectrum app I can get fake surround sound by switching to Dolby PL II or DTS Neo:6. The Xumo blocks you from changing the format.
