What did you think of 'Sword of the Stranger'? - Reddit
I really loved Sword of the Stranger. Bones does such a great job with fight choreography, on top of having sick animation. Only gripe with the new BD release was that the dub didn't have subtitles for when the characters spoke Chinese. Kinda disappointing, but just means I'll be watching subbed any other time I check it out.

2015年8月11日 · So yesterday, upon hearing recommendations from other users from this subreddit, I watched "Sword of the Stranger." The movie was fantastic. The fight scenes were extremely well-done, the art was great, and the music fit the tone of each scene perfectly.

2021年3月21日 · I've had my eye on Stranger of Sword City ever since it was released on the Vita but always held back for one reason or another (usually because there's a lot of outstanding DRPGs on Vita) but with this being a double pack, it's hard to pass up the value.

Considering Stranger of Sword City was one of my favorite games from the past few years, it definitely makes me reevaluate where I get my news on non-mainstream RPGs. I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to take a good hard look at my life choices so far, at least while Sword City Revisited is downloading to my Vita.
