🤔 Close grip = more triceps? Not really… First off, thanks for all the amazing responses to my previous post. Really wanted to clarify this as it is something I believed for years and I wasn’t right about it. Close grip push-ups DO NOT equal more triceps engagement than regular (shoulder width) push-ups when the elbow angle is equated. In my previous post, I demonstrated a diamond push-up where I lean forward and the elbow angle (amount of elbow flexion) is around 90 degrees — demonstrated here
