Wow! Look how this fish swims! This is a red toothed triggerfish! Triggerfish have this sneaky extra fin located on the dorsal of their body, they use this fin to hid in crevices and avoid predators by locking their ‘trigger’ fin into place! This means that big scary predators can’t pull them out of the rocks! We have many species of trigger fish here at Cairns aquarium along with 16 000 other native animals! Come in and visit today!
